Winter Fun Part Seven

We live in Minnesota.

Winter in Minnesota can get cold.

Really cold.

And really long.

And there are days where it's just too cold to play outside safely.

So on one of those days we brought some of the snow INSIDE . . . .

. . . then Zoe and Ella rolled the snow into three balls

and stacked them up . . .

. . . and made their own SnowBabies!!!

the guys who melt the snow and welcome warmer weather : )

Winter Fun Part Five

When the weather was *warm* enough, we bundled up

and headed out for more OUTSIDE fun.

Building a snow fort and hiding behind it . . .

. . . was part of the fun!!

. . . and trying to build another snowman

with the hard-and-not-very-sticky snow, was too!

I had to laugh when Zoe told me Tom used 'all of his nuts'

to decorate the snowman's face.

Winter Fun Part Four

Another cooooooold day made playing outside a bit dangerous, so instead we bundled up INSIDE and had ourselves a Winter Picnic!!!! The Bologna Snowflakes were a big hit and so was the (warm) Hot Chocolate.

We also brought the snow inside, and Ella and Zoe made their own snowbabies -- such fun!! I'll post more about that later . . . .
