We did it!
Despite one kid (Ella) getting carsick and the drive taking longer than we had planned, we finally made the road trip to Southern Minnesota and visited Tom's Mom -- Grandma Della -- at her farm!!
Our visit was shorter than we had hoped, but it was a nice time and all four of us are looking forward to heading back when the weather is warmer and there's grass on the ground, rather than snow.
We have a lot of exploring to do!!

I bet you will get some pretty great shots of the girls too when you go back. Glad it was a good trip.
Wow, is a big place. For sure when the girls come back they are going to have lots of fun.
PS: Do you have pics of your clasroom when you were a teacher? I'm looking for some ideas because I have something in my head,ha.
I think the girls are loving it
Ugh... carsick kids, not fun.
And that light up globe toy is a favorite here. It is my emergency toy for doctor visits when I really want them to be quiet!

My girls were sitting her with me and said "Look a real life farm!" I agree - it looks like so much fun!
Oh I still remember my farm visits from when I was a kid. They were so special!
