Highlights From 2010

January
We rang in 2010 by having a sledding party with preschool pal, Maddie ....

.... and went sliding down the big hill at Parkview on January 1st.

The girls grew lots of babies ....

.... kept the birds fed ....

.... and had a blast with Grama and Auntie Jen at preschool's Ladies Night!!

We spent time at the nature center .....

.... and celebrated the snow by making snow crowns!!

February
We continued to celebrate the snow both outside ....

.... and inside ....

We had a winter picnic INSIDE and made bologna snowflakes ....

We met new backyard friends ....

.... and we celebrated Father's Day with our two favorite guys!!

Zoe and Ella started sleeping in the big blow-up bed at Grama and Grampa's house ....

We also spent a very hot day at a park ....

.... for a Rupprecht family reunion!

July
Ella and Zoe celebrated the 4th with big smiles and blue nail polish ....

.... and we celebrated the beach with cowgirl hats, sunglasses and tank-inis.

They learned how to play basketball in their sports class ....

We went to the county fair with Grama Dianne and the younger McLain cousins ....

.... and the girls learned how to play t-ball.

.... and loved every moment!!!

The girls also got silly with Grama before Grampa came home from the hospital.

They made me smile, a lot. Just being themselves.

They had one last hurrah at Como Town ....

.... and they became 'Butterflies' in the four-year old class at preschool ....

For my birthday the girls gave me this (it dispenses candy and even sings 'take me out to the ball game') ....

.... and they had plenty of snuggle-time with Grampa while he recuperated once home from the hospital.

October
Ella and Zoe spent time with their big cousin Jack ....

.... at the apple orchard....

.... and at Grandma Della's farm (watching their Daddy climb a silo).

And despite a very expensive new transmission for Tom's car and major computer problems both within the first week of 2011, we're already having a great year and look forward to continuing the adventures in 2011!!!

This post was fabulous! I have to try that little snowman project with my daughter. Your girls are so cute and really show such a loving bond. Did you try Blog 2print yeat? It is a great way of having a journal for your girls and it does not take long to make. Have a great night!
