A few weeks ago Ella and Zoe went to their cousin Brenna's 7th Birthday Party. They were super excited for multiple reasons --- they love seeing their cousins, they love seeing their grama, grampa, uncle and auntie, they love parties, AND the party was at a beauty salon! It was quite the experience for a bunch of little girls!!
Crystal painted Ella's nails 'cajun shrimp' .....
.... while Zoe had her nails painted 'not quite a waitress'.
Ella really wanted her hair curled, so that's what Crystal did --- and Ella loved each and every moment of the experience .....
Zoe wanted her hair french braided, so Hannah helped out with that, and yup, Zoe thought it was pretty neat ....
Then Ella had her 'make-up' done .....
.... and the end result made us all smile .....
..... including cousin Connor!!
Then it was Zoe's turn for her make-up .....
I just love how she squished up her little face when she was getting her eyes done : )
So cute and so much fun!!!
After the salon we headed over to Brenna's house for pizza, cake and ice-cream --- and Ella had extra cuddle time with Grampa.
Zoe and I thought we should join in on a picture too ....
Whole group shot --- Birthday Girl Brenna is way in the back, behind the girl in the striped shirt. She is such a nice little girl and we love her so much : )
By the end of the party Zoe and Ella were partied out ....
..... but once we got home running around the backyard gave them extra energy, and Ella found her first four-leaf clover! it was really tiny, and super hard to photograph but it was perfect, and Ella was so happy. I'm glad I got a photo of it though, when she gave it to me for safe-keeping I accidentally dropped it in the tall grass and we couldn't find it again. But Ella told me that it was okay, what mattered was that she found one. Such a sweetie : )

Adorable girls. I found your blog from another blog I follow. I am now following your blog too. You see, I am an identical twin myself. I will enjoy reading what you write about your twins, as well as what your thoughts are as the mother of twins. I hope you will follow me back http://talesfrommyjournal.blogspot.com
April was quite a party month, wasn't it?? and what girl of any age wouldn't enjoy a beauty shop party:)
Awwww, I love it. Definitely, looks like they had lots of fun.
The kids must’ve had an enjoyable time at the party, that too one at a beauty salon. Looks like everyone is having fun in these pictures. I’ll be attending my sister’s birthday party at the popular event space next week. Will also be taking my daughter to her aunt’s party, and she is very excited about it.
