Tom's Birthday

Zoe and Ella were VERY excited to celebrate their Dad's Birthday ....

We made lasagna for dinner (one of Tom's favorite meals) and a DONUT CAKE for dessert!!

We're in the prep stage of painting our house, so after a day of power-washing and the start of scraping, big hugs and lots of love from the girls put a smile on Tom's face ....

Ella and Zoe got a little silly ....

.... and had fun reading birthday cards with their Dad.

I think the best part of the night for Tom were the homemade birthday cards.  Zoe made a big heart girl with purple eyelashes and a blue bow in her hair ....

.... and Ella drew a green alien with purple bows on the sun and a few of the planets.  Her birthday message 'Happy Space Birthday Dad, love Moon Ella' cracked me up.

It was a fun night ~

the donut cake was fun : ) and yes, the candles add up when you're in your late 40's ---- the girls could not believe how many candles we had to light, ha : )
