Tom and I got married in an old Victorian mansion that is now a restaurant on April 8th 1995. Each year we've celebrated our anniversary there, just the two of us, except in 2006 when I was very pregnant with Ella and Zoe --- they were our special guests.
This year we decided to bring the girls with so they could see where we got married. They felt very 'Fancy Nancy' getting all dressed up, choosing accessories and talking about manners ....
.... and fancy it was, and a lot of fun too!!
Fresh flowers,
drinking out of glass water goblets,
ordering fancy food,
made two fancy girls ....
.... quite happy!!
Exploring the other rooms was an adventure too:
It was a special meal and I'm glad we did it.
It was also quite special celebrating 16 years of marriage (plus living together for over five years prior to getting married). Tom and I have been together a looooong time and that's a really good thing!!

They look gorgeous in their fancy dresses! Too sweet! My DH and I celebrated 14 years this year. It is something to be very proud of for sure! Congrats on 16! Happy Mothers day! Enjoy!
