Our December To-Do list has been long but full of fun, and one-by-one we've been checking things off.
The girls have written their letters to Santa (and even heard back from him) ...
They decorated (and redecorated -- many times) the little trees in their bedroom ...
Fred Charles is back ...
Their Advent Calendars have brought much anticipation and joy, and have made waking up each morning a little easier ...
... and I have been reminded that despite the busy-ness of the holiday season, the simple things really do mean a lot.

Love the letters and getting ready for Christmas. It is hard to sometimes slow down especially around the holidays but oh, the joy you can see when you do.
