Ringing in the New Year

This year for New Year's Eve, Ella and Zoe had a little sledding party with their preschool pal Maddie (and her mom Stacy and brother Cooper). Even though it was *C*O*L*D* outside
(I don't remember the temp but I'm pretty sure it was below zero)
the girls had fun playing in the snow and sliding down the hill a bit.

We had appetizers for dinner, and lots of punch --
then the girls whooped it up for a few photos : )

The 3-year old party ended by 7:30 and the girls were in bed by 8:30 -- and then I waited for Tom to get home from work (yes, he had to work, and later than planned too). He got home around 10:30 and even though I tried to stay awake until midnight I was asleep by 11:50. I think I was more rowdy at the 3-year old party : )

On New Year's Day, Tom and I took the girls sliding at Parkview (our neighborhood school's big hill). It was another super super cold day -- but we layered up and bundled up and had a BLAST!!

I think having a party with the kids on New Years Eve is a great idea. Looks like you had a lot of fun in the snow. Our kids were in bed at 8:30PM.

Glad you had a great time and the girls enjoyed their party.

Looks like it was a cold day.

We were on bed around 1:50 a.m. (including the girls).

How much fun! I love their NYE hats and glasses. Your girls are so much fun! I only wished we lived closer - Abby, Emma, Ella & Zoe would be the best of friends, I am sure!
Oh, and to answer your question, those were dresses from my mom, she got them at Gap. Gotta love the Gap!
