First Snow

On OCTOBER 10th!!

Not typical, even for Minnesota.

And even though it was cold outside,

first thing this morning

Ella and Zoe had to check out the white stuff.

After they got dressed a little warmer

(in their rain boots, I haven't gotten their snow boots out yet) . . .

. . . they had to explore the snow a little bit more.

Or at least chase each other, make snow tracks . . .

. . . and hug each other because snow is SOOOO much FUN!!!

For breakfast, of course, we had hot chocolate!

And the snow -- it melted by noon : )

But we're ready for it next time.

Which hopefully won't be too soon.
