Second Snow

Already, just two days after the first snow.

A bit sooner than I thought, but so beautiful.

This is what we woke up to:

The two huge trees in the background are evergreens

but the others are deciduous trees that still have most of their leaves

and for the most part haven't even started changing colors yet.

As for playing in the snow, it IS wonderful fun

when you're dressed for it.

And it's even MORE fun

when the snow is sticky enough to make a snowman . . .

. . . . or a family of snow people!!

My 'Winter Wish' is that getting four little girls ready to play outside

makes getting just Ella and Zoe ready seem a lot easier : )

But gosh, they sure are super cute with their big snowpants on!!
